Applying game elements can help activating and engaging people. In this workshop participants will actively apply the hidden mechanisms behind games. Using examples of various well-known and lesser-known board games and video games, these mechanismen are explained and then related to the participants' context. Since some mechanisms are more suitable than others for specific applications, we'll breeze through a dozen of them and reflect which ones have most potential.
